Welcome to the first-day onboard Chateau Lafayette Nile Cruise! Today you'll be embarking on your cruise in Luxor and enjoying some of the amazing Luxor day tours and activities that we have planned for you.  As you get settled into your luxurious cabin, we'll be preparing for our first Luxor east bank tours to Karnak and Luxor temples.

The first stop on our tour is the Luxor Temple. This incredible temple was built over 3,000 years ago and is one of the most well-preserved examples of ancient Egyptian architecture, and you'll be amazed by its scale and complexity. We'll spend some time exploring the temple, learning about its history, and admiring its beauty.

Next, we'll head to the Karnak temple. This massive temple complex is one of the largest in the world, and it's truly a sight to behold. We'll explore the different parts of the complex, learning about the history and significance of each.

Finally, we'll end our day with a spectacular view of the sunset over the Nile before heading back to our cruise for some rest and relaxation. It's sure to be a day you'll remember forever!

Meals: Lunch, Dinner

Wake up to the sun glinting off the Nile outside your window and enjoy a leisurely breakfast on board the Chateau Lafayette. This morning, we'll cruise to the Luxor West Bank tour to explore the Valley of the Kings, and the Temple of Hatshepsut followed by a stop at Esna.

We start our day with a visit to the temple of Queen Hatshepsut, one of the most impressive examples of ancient Egyptian architecture. Built in the 15th century BC, the temple is dedicated to the memory of Pharaoh Hatshepsut, one of the most successful rulers in Egyptian history.

Next, we explore the Valley of the Kings, the final resting place of the Pharaohs. This valley is home to the tombs of some of the most famous rulers in Egyptian history, including Tutankhamun, Ramses the Great, and Seti I.

Finally, we visit the Colossi of Memnon, two massive statues of the Pharaoh Amenhotep III. These statues have stood guard over the entrance to the temple for over 3,500 years and are truly a sight to behold!

After our West Bank tour, we'll be heading to Esna, where we'll spend the night. Esna is a small town located in the middle of the Nile, and it's known for its beautiful temples and ancient ruins. We'll have plenty of time to explore Esna and its surroundings, so be sure to bring your camera!

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Today, we'll be making an excursion to Edfu, followed by a visit to Kom Ombo.

After breakfast, we will sail to Edfu where you'll get to see the Temple of Horus, one of the best-preserved ancient Egyptian temples. This ancient Egyptian temple is one of the best-preserved in the country and is dedicated to the falcon-headed god, Horus. You'll spend some time exploring the temple, learning about its history, and taking in the beautiful architecture before heading back to your cruise ship.

Afterward, we'll sail on to Kom Ombo, where you can explore the Temple of Sobek and learn more about the ancient Egyptian god of crocodiles! This unique temple is dedicated to two gods, Sobek and Haroeris. Be sure to take some time to marvel at the intricate carvings and paintings inside the temple.

As always, our friendly and knowledgeable staff will be on hand to answer any questions you have and make sure you have a wonderful time before heading back down the Nile and taking a cruise to Aswan.

It's day 4 of your Chateau Lafayette Nile Cruise and you're in for a treat! Today you'll be touring the amazing city of Aswan.

You'll start your day with a visit to the Aswan High Dam, an engineering marvel that was built in the 1960s. The dam provides irrigation and hydroelectric power for the whole of Egypt and is a truly impressive sight.

After that, you'll visit the Temple of Philae, which is dedicated to the goddess Isis. The temple was originally built on the island of Philae, but when the Aswan Dam was built, the island was submerged and the temple was moved to its current location.

Finally, you will visit the Unfinished Obelisk. This obelisk was started but never finished. It is believed that the obelisk was meant for the temple of Karnak. We hope you enjoy your time in Aswan!
