7 Days Tour to Cairo and Siwa Oasis

After having your tasty breakfast at the hotel, you will meet your certified tour guide to start your tours in Cairo to visit the Giza Pyramids, the Great Pyramid of King Cheops belongs to the 4th dynasty.

Visit the pyramids of his successors from the same dynasty during the old kingdom of Egypt history, Chephren and Mycerinus, then drive to the high plateau area for a spectacular view.

Then, take memorable photos of the three pyramids together with a chance of an unforgettable camel ride in Giza Pyramids, continue to visit the Great Sphinx an impressive sculpture with a human head and a lion's body situated next to the Pyramids of Giza.

Next, you will be transferred to Tahrir Square, one of the most famous and largest Egyptian squares in Cairo. you will enjoy there the Egyptian Museum tour to see the different periods of antiquities including the child King Tutankhamun's treasures, the 2 floors building contains more than 120,000 artifacts between huge statues, golden coffins, sarcophagi, and mummies.

Continue your Cairo trips right after you enjoy the tasty lunch in one of the local restaurants in Cairo, transfer then to the oldest market in Egypt, Khan El Khalili Bazaar to drink the traditional tea-mint in a local cafe and explore the area where most of the Islamic Cairo trips take place. You will be transferred back to the hotel after your Cairo day tours are completed.

Breakfast at the hotel then transfers by your air-conditioned vehicle to start your Alexandria from Cairo day trip. Upon arrival, your day tour in Alexandria will begin by visiting the Roman Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa which were discovered as soon as the 20th century began and is considered one of the largest burial places during the Greco-Roman era in Egypt. 

Historians agree that the catacombs were used until the end of the fourth century A.D and were later abandoned. Continue to see the site where the Pompey Pillar stands in the ruins of the Alexandria Serapeum that was built by Ptolomy III.

Continue to visit the Citadel of Qaitbay that was built during the 15th century by the Muslim Mamluk Sultan Qaitbay to protect the city from the threat of the crusaders during that time, this wonderful Islamic monument was built using the ruins of Alexandria Lighthouse Pharos which was built by Ptolemy XI in the 3rd century B.C. 

We will pass by the Bibliotheca Alexandrina which is a modern Bibliotheca that serves science and scientific research in many fields.

You will have a fresh seafood lunch in a restaurant overlooking the harbor before being transferred to the hotel in Alexandria for check-in.

Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel in Alexandria before making the check-out and transfer to El Alamein to visit the El Alamein War Cemetery, that exhibits incredible things that date back to when the two battles took place in the region between October and November 1942. Your expert tour guide will provide you with all the information during the visit.

Next, transfer to Marsa Matrouh, the beautiful city on the coast of the Mediterranean to have lunch and continue your drive towards Siwa Oasis. 

Upon arrival, you will go to the hotel to leave your bags and transfer to one of the hot water springs to have a swim and relax your muscles after a long day's drive.

Continue to visit the Temple of Amun Ra at Um Ubeyda which had been built for the worship of the triad of God Amun. then experience the unique Siwan heritage through Siwa House Museum to learn about the culture of the Bedouin tribes in Siwa.

Relaxing afternoon at Cleopatra Spring to enjoy swimming in the sparkling natural water after that you will be transferred to Fitnas Island to enjoy once in a lifetime Sunset view.

Breakfast at the Eco-lodge, then continue your Siwa Oasis desert safari to the rock-cut tombs into the Mountain of the Dead, it is a Mountain where several tombs were carved on its base, terraces, and at the top.

You will be back to the hotel to take another 4x4 vehicle to start your Great Sand Sea Tour, drive to one of the fascinating sites in the great sand sea a beautiful for it's phenomena that move their sand like waves of the sea.

Then, get excited by the sandboarding experience, although not as fast as snowboarding but with the right way, you can shoot down some of the massive dunes in the great sand sea and have thrills to spare. 

After sandboarding it is time to wash up in the hot spring renowned as Bir Wahid for chilling and stretching our muscles thanks to the 40 degrees warm water, enjoy another breathtaking sunset at the great sand sea in the middle of the dunes while having Bedouin tea.
