Due to the cultural and religious distinctions, Egyptian customs are different from those in the US. When traveling to Egypt, remember the following customs:
In Egypt, most ladies act modestly around strangers.
Normal interactions are perfectly allowed, however intimate acts outside of tourist areas and in public are uncommon.

In Egypt, visitors must take off their shoes before entering a mosque.

In Egypt, giving gifts is customary. When receiving great service, you could leave a tip in Egypt.

It is not advised to discuss politics and religion with total strangers, but we strongly advise you to speak with your personal Egyptologist at EGYPT FOR AMERICANS to get answers to all of your questions about Egypt.

The taking of pictures of soldiers, tanks, or other military equipment is prohibited.

The winter months (October to April) offer milder temperatures, making it ideal for outdoor activities. Summer (May to September) can be quite hot, but it's great for diving and water sports enthusiasts.

Yes, Egypt Classic Tours include opportunities for sandboarding in the White Desert. The White Desert, or the Great Desert, is one of Egypt's vast deserts and is characterized by its pure white sand.

Sandboarding is usually a fun and exciting activity that allows visitors to enjoy a unique experience as they glide across the surface of the sand. These activities can be held in some desert areas suitable for sandboarding, and the necessary equipment is provided for participants.
