The Great Pyramid of Cheops in Giza necropolis:

The Great Pyramid was built during the Old kingdom 4500 years ago. During our Egypt Classic tours, you will have some free time to go inside if you wish or to take some photos of the enormous structure while your tour guide tells you the story of the pyramids.

The second Pyramid of king Chephren:

Chephren is the 2nd reigning son of Cheops, he built his pyramid in Giza slightly smaller than his father's in respect. as well as the famous Sphinx which is the largest among the sphinxes in Egypt.

The third Pyramid of king Mycerinus :

Lastly, you will get to see the smallest royal pyramid in Giza built for king Mycerinus of the 4th dynasty from above the high plateau, where you will have the availability to enjoy a camel ride in the Giza Pyramids (optional activity) to take amazing photos.

The Great Giza Sphinx:

 Which stood as a guardian to the whole necropolis, it was carved from one stone 73 meters long in a figure of a lion with a man's head, smart like a human, and as strong as the lion.

The Valley Temple:

One of the oldest temples in Egypt and it is located right in front of the Sphinx, the temple was principally built to perform the ritual known as the opening of the mouth for King Chephren, so that his Mummy can eat, drink and talk properly in the afterlife.

Memphis City:

You will be transferred for about 35 minutes drive to visit the open-air museum in the ancient city of Memphis to explore the treasures and masterpieces that remain from the oldest capital city of the Egyptian empire since the time of King Menes 5000 years ago after the unification of the two lands.

Saqqara:

Transfer to Saqqara necropolis, one of the richest and oldest archeological sites in the world, and the home of 11 royal pyramids and many Mastaba tombs for the high officials, aristocrats, and nobles as well as the relatives of the Pharaohs of ancient Egypt. You will see the Step Pyramid, which is the oldest pyramid built by the famous architect Imhotep to King Djoser and it is considered the first stone building in the world.

The tour includes an entrance to the pyramid of Teti which is inscribed from the inside with hieroglyphs and Cartouches of the kings, the Cartouches are oval or elongated confining a group of Egyptian hieroglyphs (symbols), typically representing the name and title of a king. We will also take you to visit one of the tombs of the nobles built in the form of the Mastaba tomb and decorated with colorful scenes of daily life in ancient Egypt.

Now you can rest and enjoy your lunch in a local restaurant in the village of Saqqara then we will move to Memphisthe capital of Egypt during the Old Kingdom and a very important city during the Middle Kingdom and the New Kingdom all the way to the Greco-Roman era of ancient Egypt history.

After finishing your exciting tours in Giza, we will take you back to spend the night at your hotel in Giza.

Move to the Citadel of Saladin which used to be the center of the Egyptian government for many centuries. Upon arrival, you will visit the Alabaster mosque of Mohamed Ali, considered a unique reflection of the Ottoman architecture in Egypt and you will enjoy the Islamic Cairo trips with its several mosques and Towers piercing the sky and magnificent colorful domes, which are hundreds of years old and some of them are even older than one thousand years.

Our Coptic Cairo tour will take you to see the Roman fortress of Babylon and the Hanging Church of the Holy Virgin Mary well known as Al Mualaka or the suspended church because it was built above the towers of the fortress.

After breakfast, get set to meet your expert English-speaking Egyptologist guide to start the day tour to Alexandria from Cairo during our Egypt Classic Tours. We will transfer you from Cairo to Alexandria by air-conditioned vehicles. The trip takes about 2 and a half hours and you will stop on the way for a break.

Finally, you will reach Alexandria, the shining pearl of the Mediterranean and the second capital of Egypt, The name of the city dates back to its founder, the Macedonian leader Alexander the Great, who ruled Egypt in 332 B.C.

Start your sightseeing at the famous site known as Pompey’s Pillar, constructed in 297 B.C to celebrate the victory of a Roman emperor named Diocletian (who ruled Rome between 284 and 305 B.C and also took control over Egypt) following a revolt in Alexandria, then you will be transferred to the Catacombs of Kom El Shokkafa,  which were discovered as soon as the 20th century began and is considered one of the largest burial Roman places, after that, you will drive by the seaside to reach the Citadel of Qaitbay, built on the ruins of the ancient Lighthouse Pharos of Alexandria.
