Welcome to Cairo, Egypt
When you arrive to Egypt, Cairo Top Tours representative will be waiting for you at Cairo International Airport holding a sign with your name written on it. It will take about one hour from the airport until you reach the hotel in Giza by exclusive air-conditioned deluxe vehicle. When you reach Giza you will check into the hotel, and Cairo top tours representative will assist you with a smooth check-in and he will review for you the itinerary of our Egypt Classic Tours from Cairo to Alexandria holiday to establish and confirm pick-up times for each tour.
Overnight in Cairo.
After having your delicious breakfast at the hotel in Cairo, you will meet Cairo Top Tours professional tour guide who will escort you to Giza Plateau to visit the Great Pyramid of Cheops, 4500 years old during our Egypt Classic tours, you will have some free time to go inside if you wish or to take more photos, then move to the second Pyramid of king Chephren, the second reigning son of Cheops, and finally you will get to see the smallest royal pyramid in Giza built for king Mykerinus of the 4th dynasty, also see how huge is the Great Sphinx, which represents a guardian to the cemetery smart like human and strong as the lion. You will also visit the Valley Temple facing the famous statue, the temple is mainly built to operate the ritual of the opening of the mouth of Chephren so that his Mummy can eat, drink and talk in the afterlife. You will stop to take lunch in a local restaurant in the village of Sakkara then you will be transferred to Memphis, the capital of Egypt during the Old Kingdom and a very important city during the Middle and the New Kingdoms all the way to the Greco-Roman era. At Memphis, you will be guided through the open-air museum to explore the treasures and masterpieces of the ancient city.
You will be escorted back to your Giza hotel and overnight.

Then you will be transferred to the Citadel of Saladin which used to be the Centre of the Egyptian government for many centuries, upon arrival you will visit the Alabaster mosque of Mohamed Ali and you will enjoy a panorama of Islamic Cairo with mosques, minarets piercing the sky and magnificent domes hundreds of years old and some of them are even older than one thousand years.
We will move to visit Coptic Cairo, starting by the Roman fortress of Babylon and the Hanging Church of the Holy Virgin Mary well known as Al Mualaka or the suspended church, because it was built above the towers of the fortress. During our Cairo Day Tours you will visit the church of the Holy Family or the Church of St Serguis which was built above the crypt inside which the holy family stayed over three months and the spring from which they got their water supplies, then we will go to Ben Ezra Synagogue which is according to tradition built on the spot where the basket of baby Moses was found.
You will have an oriental lunch then move to Khan El Khalili bazaar in the heart of Islamic Cairo, and explore the walls and gates of medieval Cairo and the old streets date back to the 10th century. Back to your hotel and overnight in Cairo.

After eating your delicious breakfast at your hotel, you will meet your fluent English speaking tour guide to start the tour to Alexandria during our Egypt Classic Tours, you will be transferred from Cairo to Alexandria over land, which takes approximately 2 hours and you will stop on the way for a break. Finally, you will reach Alexandria, the shining pearl of the Mediterranean and the second capital of Egypt, The name of the city dates back to its founder, the Macedonian leader Alexander the Great, who ruled Egypt in 332 B.C.
When you reach Alexandria you will start your sightseeing at Pompey’s Pillar, one of the most important city’ landmarks, a roman victorious 30 meters high column and is a single cut from pink granite, then you will be transferred to the Catacombs of Kom El Shokkafa, the largest Roman cemetery in Egypt, consisting of three-layer tombs and chambers cut out of the rock under the ground, after that you will drive by the seaside to reach the Citadel of Qaitbay, built in the 15th century by the Mamluk Sultan Qaitbay to fortify the North of Egypt against the Ottomans, it was built on the spot where the ancient lighthouse of Alexandria used to be, and you will visit The Bibliotheca of Alexandria. It was built in 2002 after an international designing competition, the new Bibliotheca is adorning the sea boulevard like the sun of knowledge is rising upon the Mediterranean from Alexandria. You will finally visit the Memorial of the unknown soldier of Alexandria and enjoy tasty seafood lunch made out of the freshest ingredients.
Then you will be transferred back to your hotel in Cairo.
