Egypt Tours FAQ

Read top Egypt tours FAQs

Egypt is a unique nation renowned for its profusion of beautiful attractions. It is strongly advised to take part in a guided Cairo day tour to enjoy all the noteworthy sites, including the Cairo Tower and the Giza Pyramids. In addition to the magical Bahariya, Farafra, and Kharga Oases. By doing this, you may make sure that none of the captivating top attractions this country has to offer are missed.

The winter months, from October to April, are perfect for visiting Egypt. The weather is mild and pleasant, though the evenings can get quite cool. December through January are peak tourist months, so expect to see a lot of people if you go during this time. March to May is the best time to enjoy the beaches without having to deal with the large crowds of summer tourists. Temperatures are pleasant at this time of year, and tourist attractions are not overcrowded.

It is not surprising then that there were over 2,000 deities in the Egyptian pantheon. Some of these deities' names are well known: Isis, Osiris, Horus, Amun, Ra, Hathor, Bastet, Thoth, Anubis, and Ptah while many others less so.

You shouldn't worry if your guide speaks Spanish to you while you're traveling, but it might be entertaining to pick up a few Arabic words so you can converse with locals; they really enjoy it when you try to speak their language.

Furthermore, English is practically a second language in Egypt, and people directly involved in the tourism industry are multilingual, so this is not a cause for alarm.

Although the security situation is often exaggerated in many media outlets, Egypt is generally a safe country to travel to. Most areas are considered relatively safe, with the exception of the North Sinai governorate, where there is generally a higher risk. Checkpoints have been set up in several regions to ensure the safety of tourists. Egypt is also quite safe in terms of muggings, robberies and other crimes of opportunity. It is safe to walk the streets at night when most Egyptians start their social activities and the cities come to life. Most restaurants and cafes are open late into the night. The majority of Egyptians are polite and friendly to tourists.

You can only look at the outside of the building; you cannot enter. When visiting the pyramids, you would usually stop at the Sphinx, which is just next to them. To avoid the biggest crowds at the Sphinx and pyramids, visit either early in the day or late in the evening.
