These temples are important because they were built in the 237-57 BCE period and the significance of the temples will be further discussed by your guide. Between 237 and 57 BCE, work was done on the Temple of Horus at Edfu. One of Egypt's best-preserved sanctuaries, you can still pick out many of its inscriptions within. The crocodile deity (Sobek) and falcon god (Haroeris) were honored at the Temple of Sobek and Haroeris at Kom Ombo (Haroeris). Along with wall carvings and statues, many of the walls of its courts, halls, sanctuaries, and chambers are still intact. After touring the temples, you will return to the Nile cruise.

After arriving in your ship in Aswan, you will have the opportunity to explore the city and its attractions, including the Aswan High Dam, which was constructed in the 1960s and is still a major accomplishment. At the time, it was a major accomplishment since it quadrupled Egypt's electrical supply.

You can swim in one of the area's oasis springs at the Cleopatra Bath. You can learn more about local customs and culture by visiting the Oracle Temple, a 26th-dynasty temple constructed in the 6th century BCE, and the Siwan House, a museum housed in a historic home. Before returning to Siwa for the evening, take a detour to Fatnas Island to see the sunset.

Egypt Tours FAQ

During the summer months, which range from May to October, the weather in Egypt can be dry and sweltering, making it an off-season for the country's tourism. This is the perfect time to visit because tours and other activities are less expensive, not to mention that hotels and flights are less expensive and more readily available.

Because knowing what not to do is just as important as knowing what to do in a particular area, here is the first thing to avoid when visiting Egypt: disrespecting the country's traditions. Egyptians are regarded for being very kind and receptive to travelers, yet they are also extremely conservative and traditional. Tourists should avoid immodest clothes, public displays of affection, and public drinking.

Salting the host's meal, photographing public infrastructure without permission, and flying drones should all be avoided.

Egyptologists believe the Sphinx to be approximately 4500 years old. They link this age to the Pharaoh Khafra, for who the face of the Sphinx supposedly resembles.

The 14-day Egypt Cultural Tour offers a diverse array of experiences and events that showcase the finest aspects of Egypt's rich cultural legacy. The following are a few of the standouts:

Cairo: You will be able to see famous sites including the Egyptian Museum, the Citadel of Saladin, the Sphinx, the Giza Pyramids, and the bustling Khan El Khalili Bazaar. You can also take a tour of Old Cairo's historic Islamic and Coptic neighborhoods.

Luxor: Because of its abundance of ancient Egyptian sites, Luxor is regarded as the finest open-air museum in the world. The Valley of the Kings, the Valley of the Queens, the Luxor Temple, the Karnak Temple Complex, and the Hatshepsut Temple are all open for exploration.
