Welcome Drink

Start your day with a delicious buffet breakfast at the hotel then meet your certified tour guide to begin your 5 Days in Cairo by the Tour to Saqqara Necropolis sightseeing from Cairo. You will be transferred to the old kingdom necropolis known as Saqqara to see the Step Pyramid complex of King Djoser, the tombs of the nobles, and enter the Pyramid of King Teti.

Your tour guide will do his best to simplify the history of Egypt and make it easy to understand the basics of the ancient Egyptian religion. Djoser was one of the most powerful kings and rulers of ancient Egypt during the 3rd dynasty, his Step Pyramid was built by Imhotep the great architect and philosopher who held many titles and was even worshipped after his death. Enter the tomb of Kagemni who was the son-in-law of King Teti, ruler of Egypt during the 6th dynasty.

Transfer to the ancient city of Memphis to discover the artifacts that date back to different periods of the pharaonic period, especially the alabaster sphinx of Memphis and the colossal statue of King Ramses II.

We will now transfer to the Pyramids of Giza to start our amazing tour of the Pyramids of Giza by exploring the 3 pyramids that were built by the kings of the 4th dynasty Cheops, Chephren, and Mycerinus. See the grandeur of the great pyramid of Khufu, the tallest structure in the world from 4500 years ago till the construction of the Lincoln Cathedral in 1311 A.D.

See the three pyramids from the high plateau and enjoy an optional camel ride in Giza Pyramids for 1 hour while taking amazing photos of the landscape, transfer now to see the Great Sphinx of Chephren, the mythological figure of a man-headed lion, and continue your Giza Pyramids tour to enter the Valley Temple or the mummification temple inside the funeral complex of Chephren while your Egyptologist tells you the different phases of the mummification process.

Enjoy your delicious lunch meal in a good-quality restaurant overlooking the pyramids and the sphinx.

Transfer back to the hotel after your tours in Cairo are completed, overnight stay at your hotel.

Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel then proceed to the Egyptian Museum which contains the largest collection of Egyptian artifacts and sculptures all over the world and the 1st royal treasure discovered intact in Luxor, the Treasures of the golden pharaoh Tutankhamen, and then move to visit the old churches like the Hanging Church of the Holy Virgin Mary that was built suspended above two towers of the ancient Roman fortress of Babylon that was built during the 1st century and the Church of St. Sergius where you will see the crypt that the holy family stayed at during their journey in Egypt, then visit the oldest synagogue in Old Cairo, Ben Ezra Synagogue that was a Christian church before.

Have your tasty lunch before being transferred to enjoy the Cairo shopping tour in the famous market of Khan El-Khalili, you will have a tea mint or a special fresh mango juice in a local cafe while watching the street life and the sellers in the area of Al Hussein, your tour guide will show you some interesting buildings from the early Islamic Cairo in Al-Moez Street.

Transfer back to the hotel after completing the excursions in Cairo.

After having your breakfast at the hotel, you will spend the day at leisure and our recommendations for you are to take the opportunity and discover the Greco-Roman monuments in Alexandria city, the beautiful city on the Mediterranean coast which used to be the capital of Egypt for about a millennia, you will see the Pompey Pillar, the Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa, the Citadel of Qaitbay, and the Alexandria Bibliotheca including a tasty seafood lunch in a fancy restaurant overlooking the seawater.
