It is located 60 km north of Luxor on the west bank of the Nile. The temple was built by the pharaoh Ramses II in the nineteenth century BC. It was dedicated to the goddess Hathor, the wife of the sun god Ra. The temple complex consists of a large number of buildings, including a temple, a chapel, a palace, and a tomb. then we will transfer to Abydos temple which is one of the most famous temples in Egypt. It is located in the city of Abydos, about 100 kilometers (60 miles) north of Luxor. The temple was built in the early 12th century BC by the pharaoh Ramses II (also known as Ramses the Great). It was dedicated to the god Osiris, the god of the underworld. The temple was built on an enormous scale, with colossal statues of Ramses II and Osiris.
