Day Tour to Giza Pyramids and Saqqara from Alexandria Port

See our professional tour leader at Alexandria Port. Once your cruise ship arrives at Alexandria Port, we will be waiting for you by the exit door to enjoy your trip from our Alexandria Shore Excursions offers.

After driving for almost three hours by car including a break, you will begin your day tour to the Giza Pyramids and Saqqara trip from Alexandria Port to Cairo at the Great Pyramid of Cheops, and our tour guide will provide all the information about the way they were built and the reasons for building the pyramid in ancient Egypt.

Then you will proceed to visit the pyramid of king Chephren, who is the same Pharaoh that made the Sphinx protect the site, and finally, you will get to see the pyramid of king Mycerinus the last pyramid to be built here before riding the Camels.

Your special tour guide will take you after that to see the gigantic Sphinx, which reflects the head of one of the most famous kings and Pharaohs in Egyptian history and the body of the lion, and also the Valley Temple of the mummification of the Pharaohs' bodies.
You will enjoy your oriental lunch and then you will be accompanied by your tour guide to visit Saqqara and enjoy the sightseeing at the Step Pyramid complex built by king Djoser.
