The Two Temples of Abu Simbel
Abu Simbel temple is an archaeological site containing two temples, the Little Temple, and the Great Temple, that were both sculpted in rocks. The temples were built during the reign of Ramesses II in 1279-1213 BC.

The reason for the construction of the temples was to celebrate the victory of"King Ramses II" in the Battle of Kadesh, The Great temple was built for the god Ptah, and Pharaoh Ramses II. The small temple was built for the goddess Hathor and Nefertiti, the wife of Ramesses II.
