It is not usually visited during the usual Cairo Day Tours and it was built in the 16th century, during the time of Islamic Egypt, and provides a beautiful setting for the wonderful Tanoura Sufi dance Show, which is an artistic dance presentation that takes place three nights a week for about an hour and a half.
